The Role

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified and experienced tradesperson responsible for carrying out general maintenance, refurbishment works, larger-scale refurbishments and general repair works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out a wide variety of maintenance and refurbishment projects, from small jobbing works to multi-week, multi-trade refurbishments.
  • Complete bathroom and kitchen installations, whole-house refurbishments, carpentry, plumbing, basic electrics, pointing, tiling, plastering and decorating.
  • Undertake carpentry works including flooring, building works and general repairs.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues relating to damp and condensation.
  • Carry out roofing works where required.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong communication with clients.
  • Capable of working effectively alongside other trades and taking the lead on multi-trade refurbishment projects where required.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and to a high standard.
  • Work safely and comply with all company health and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and ensure company vehicles are kept clean and well-maintained.

What We’re Looking For

  • Extensive experience across multiple trades and property maintenance.
  • Time-served experience with relevant qualifications up to date.
  • A fully qualified and experienced tradesperson.
  • Strong knowledge of refurbishment and repair works.
  • Experience in areas including carpentry, plumbing, basic electrics, tiling, plastering and decorating.
  • Experience with roofing, flooring, building works, damp diagnosis and condensation issues would be a distinct advantage.
  • A flexible, friendly and helpful attitude.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • A full, clean driving licence.
