Our services include podcast production, branded content development, studio hire, marketing, and distribution.
We’ve grown organically through strong SEO, referrals, and brand awareness. As we scale, we’re looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to help us accelerate growth by generating new revenue opportunities and building high-value client relationships.
The Opportunity
Your primary focus will be driving new business revenue. This is a proactive, outbound-led role focused on identifying opportunities, opening doors, pitching services, and converting conversations into paid projects and long-term retainers. While strategic partnerships are still part of the mix, this role is more commercially focused — building pipeline, closing deals, and generating measurable growth.
You’ll play a key role in shaping how we position our services in the market, develop new revenue streams, and scale client acquisition. This is a flexible, autonomous role suited to someone who thrives on winning new business, spotting commercial opportunities, and turning conversations into signed deals.
What You’ll Do
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with brands, agencies, creators, and organisations
- Generate qualified leads through outbound outreach, networking, partnerships, and your existing network
- Pitch our services including branded podcasts, video content, studio hire, and marketing support
- Build and manage a consistent sales pipeline from first contact to deal close
- Develop strategic commercial relationships that lead to recurring work and retainers
- Negotiate commercial terms including project fees, retainers, and revenue-share agreements
- Collaborate with the production and creative teams to craft compelling proposals and pitches
- Track performance, revenue targets, and deal progression
- Contribute to refining our go-to-market and growth strategy as we scale
What You’ll Earn
- Base: Hourly rate for business development activity (up to 18 hours per week)
- Commission & Revenue Share: Competitive percentage-based commission on all revenue you generate
- Uncapped earning potential
- Performance bonuses for hitting revenue milestones
- Potential residual commission on long-term or recurring clients
- Typical project values: £2,000–£20,000+ per project, with strong potential for ongoing retainers and repeat work.
Who You Are
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or revenue generation
- Track record of closing deals and generating measurable revenue
- Strong network within brands, agencies, media, startups, or content ecosystems
- Confident initiating conversations and pitching to senior decision-makers
- Commercially minded with strong negotiation skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Passionate about media, content, storytelling, and podcasting
- Comfortable working in a performance-driven, commission-based environment
Nice to Have
- Experience in media, podcasting, advertising, or creative services
- Background in selling content production, branded content, or marketing services
- Understanding of sponsorships, content monetisation, and digital media
- Existing relationships that could convert into new business opportunities
- Startup, freelance, or agency-side experience
What We Offer
- Total flexibility: work remotely and manage your own schedule
- Uncapped earning potential with strong commission structure
- Access to a London-based studio and experienced production team
- Support with pitch decks, case studies, and sales materials
- The opportunity to shape the commercial growth function from the ground up
- A key role in scaling a fast-moving podcast studio and agency
