This role is a full-time, fixed-term contract (FTC) until 31 March 28. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5 pm, with hybrid working and some mandatory office days required.
The London Innovation and Improvement Alliance (LIIA) is the Association of London Directors of Children's Services (ALDCS) sector-led improvement partnership hosted by London Councils. We facilitate collaboration to address ALDCS priorities, provide a platform for innovation, identify and share effective practice, and produce and make accessible shared datasets.
As part of the ambitious London Regional Care Cooperative (RCC) programme, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Sufficiency and Supplier Relationship Manager to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in shaping the future of care placement sufficiency and commissioning across London.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of the London RCC's OneCustomer workstream, driving collaboration across London boroughs to improve market management, supplier engagement, commissioning, and sufficiency planning.
- Deliver the pan-London Sufficiency Strategy and Action Plan, working with senior leaders, local authorities, and partners to develop strategic approaches to supplier relationship management, market development, and procurement.
- Support the design and delivery of initiatives that strengthen commissioning arrangements at both regional and sub-regional levels.
- Coordinate complex programmes of work, ensuring effective planning, governance, risk management, and performance monitoring.
- Build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, providing strategic support, facilitating collaboration, and driving system-wide improvement.
- Oversee programme resources and budgets, support communication and knowledge-sharing activities, and represent the RCC at meetings, workshops, and events.
