An exciting opportunity for a substantive consultant post in the Gastroenterology service at St Mark’s National Bowel Hospital has arisen. We are looking for individuals with an interest in hepatology and liver disease and who may have an interest in ERCP but not essential. This is an excellent chance to work in a world renowned Centre of Excellence.
Main duties of the job
Duties will include:
- Liver outpatient clinics
- Endoscopy/Opportunity for ERCP
- Ward cover on a 1:5 rota
- Opportunity to work additional WLI’s to assist with reducing backlog and waiting times
- Opportunity for research
Our gastroenterology department is an internationally renowned centre of clinical excellence. The department has clinics at the Trust’s four hospitals – St Mark’s, Central Middlesex, Northwick Park and Ealing – and provides an extensive range of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services. We see both local and nationally referred patients.
