A position for a Specialty Registrar has become availablewithin the General Surgery and Upper GI department at Ealing Hospital . This is an exciting time to join the department as we have expanded the number of surgeons in recent times and with strong research platforms in Upper GI Surgery, there is good opportunities for the right candidate to develop their surgical career., Providing high-quality clinical care to surgical patients on emergency and elective settings.
Participating in on call rota cover, ward rounds, outpatient clinics, weekly theatre sessions and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Assisting in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of surgical cases.
Supporting the training and supervision of junior medical staff and medical students.
Contributing to audits, research projects, and quality improvement initiatives within the department as well as the regular activities of the department such as the Mortality meeting and the journal club.
Demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to Trust policies and guidelines.
