A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic team as a Project Manager for Cancer Services. In this role, you will work closely with the Cancer Care Group Triumvirate, including the Trust Lead Cancer Clinician, Macmillan Trust Lead Nurse Cancer & Palliative Care, Head of Operations, and General Manager for Cancer Services. You will provide expert project management skills to help deliver key cancer initiatives, refine cancer timed pathways, and ensure the successful achievement of national cancer standards such as FDS and 62-day targets.
You will play a critical role in managing complex projects across multiple specialties, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. Your responsibilities will include data collection, analysis, and presenting findings to guide improvements in patient care. As a Project Manager for Cancer Services, you will work closely with clinicians and managers to design cancer timed pathways that prioritize the best possible patient experience and efficient service delivery. You will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective management of interdependencies and the successful delivery of project objectives. Your role will involve supporting the development of project plans and the delivery of key milestones, using structured methodologies and best practice to define, scope, manage, and execute projects of varying complexity. Working across multiple stakeholders, you will ensure the successful implementation and progression of each initiative.
