An opportunity has arisen for highly motivated and enthusiastic Community Receptionists to join our Integrated Sexual and Reproductive Health Service. You will be based at Patrick Clements Clinic, Central Middlesex Hospital, providing contraception and testing/treatment for sexually transmitted infections. You may also be required to cover clinics at Ealing, Harrow, and Hillingdon occasionally.
Your role will be crucial to the smooth running of the service, as you will be the first point of contact for our service users. You should have excellent interpersonal skills to ensure a positive experience for all patients. This non-judgemental role involves directing patients to the appropriate members of our multidisciplinary team and handling highly confidential and sensitive issues.
You will provide a professional and caring welcome to patients of all ages, including teenagers, promoting access to services for young people. You should be able to work independently using your own initiative while maintaining a strong team approach. Excellent telephone and IT skills are essential. Training will be provided for our IT systems and in contraception and sexual health processes. The role requires working evening shifts one to two days a week.
