The overall purpose of this post is to support the delivery of the End of Life Care Strategy within LNWH. The post holder will be involved in the delivery of nursing care for patients in the last phase of life, with knowledge, skill, and competence beyond that of a traditional healthcare assistant. You will support and contribute to education and training of registered nurses, healthcare assistants, and other members of the multidisciplinary team (MDT) regarding the specific needs of patients and their families/carers at the last phase of life. Working under indirect supervision, as part of the nursing team, you will have responsibility for delivering nursing care to patients within a delegated caseload. You will participate in multidisciplinary working and the development, implementation, and evaluation of healthcare services.
