The predicted salary is between 29543 - 36108 £ per year.

The new London Museum is about to open to the public in the former Smithfield market buildings.

The second stage of this enormous project, opening in 2028, will contain our new major exhibition space.

We are looking for a Senior Exhibitions Curatorial Lead with vision and flair to help drive the programming of this exciting, flexible and immersive space.

Based in the Curatorial team, the Senior Exhibitions Curatorial Lead will be responsible for shaping the content of our exhibitions programme, working with the Heads of Exhibitions and Curatorial to develop exhibition proposals and content.

You will act as curator for some of our major exhibitions, as well as supporting other curators, both internal and external, to deliver outstanding and successful exhibitions.

Working with the Senior Research Lead, you will also create an alignment between the temporary exhibitions programme and the museum’s Research Action Plan.

If you are successfully shortlisted you will be invited to an interview where you will asked questions to help us understand more about what you share in your application, and in particular to understand how you meet the essential person specification criteria for the role and demonstrate our museum behaviours.

As part of the assessment, you will also be asked to deliver a short presentation.
