Role Description
As a Mortgage Broker, you will play a key role in delivering tailored mortgage and protection advice to a diverse range of clients. You will have the flexibility to work from home, combined with the expectation to attend the office at least once per week to collaborate with colleagues and stay connected with the wider team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with introducers, ensuring a consistent pipeline of high-quality business. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work closely with several new build developments, supporting buyers throughout their purchasing journey with professional and compliant mortgage advice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert mortgage and protection advice to clients, ensuring suitable and compliant recommendations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with introducers to generate new business opportunities.
- Manage client cases from initial enquiry through to completion, delivering a seamless customer experience.
- Work closely with developers and sales teams on new build sites, assisting buyers with their financing needs.
- Stay up to date with lender criteria, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute positively to team culture and attend regular office meetings.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge and experience as a Mortgage Broker or Mortgage Adviser.
- In-depth understanding of Brokerage and Finance principles.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with lenders and clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- CeMAP or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Previous experience in the mortgage or financial services industry is highly desirable.
