The Student Zone supports students across all our six schools. The Student Zone is managed by the Student Zone Team Leaders.

About the post

The Student Zone Team Leader plays a key role in leading the delivery of inclusive, high-quality frontline support to students across a range of services, helping to improve student continuation, completion and overall experience. Working as part of a dynamic, student-facing team, the role ensures students receive accurate, timely and responsive information, advice and guidance (IAG) throughout their university journey.

This post is responsible for supervising a team of Student Zone Advisers, promoting a culture of professional excellence and continuous improvement. The Team Leader ensures the team offers a knowledgeable and approachable first point of contact, with a strong focus on service consistency, student satisfaction and proactive engagement. The role works collaboratively with academic Schools, central departments and external partners to ensure students are connected with the right support at the right time.

With a focus on data-informed planning, service development and inclusive practice, the Student Zone Team Leader helps shape a welcoming and empowering environment for all London Met students. This is a campus-based role reporting to the Head of Student Zone and School Administration. This is a fixed-term position until 04 October 2026.
