This position is for an empowered leader who will utilise their leadership skills as well as their creativity to craft memorable experiences for our guests across our Luggage Room Bar and its newly opened adjoining Lounge, and the exclusive M Club Lounge. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead our Mayfair hotel's five-star food and beverage outlets as well as the M Club which accommodates only our most loyal, valuable guests for whom luxury, personalised and dedicated service is crucial.
You will inspire our operations teams to pursue excellence in these areas and drive us to achieve all budgeted revenues whilst simultaneously controlling costs. Besides motivating the team to create meaningful, genuine experiences, the Food & Beverage Outlets Manager will ensure that all brand standards under their ownership are being upheld, especially during key periods such as breakfast, afternoon tea and evening food service.
You will monitor and reinforce buffet setups, flows, and presentation ensuring that relevant checklists are being used to prepare in advance for these meal periods and that they are consistently being followed. You will ensure that the team are well versed in proactively upselling whilst delivering a seamless dining experience whether itβs a light lunch or a carefully crafted cup of artisan coffee.
This management position involves leading your team while personally assisting in executing events and day-to-day operations based on demand and service standards. The Food & Beverage Outlets Manager develops and directs their team to provide consistent, high-quality service at all times. You will communicate performance expectations and train the team on necessary processes.
You are responsible for managing financial and administrative duties in collaboration with the Food and Beverage Services Manager including menu planning and control of stock and inventories. In the Food and Beverage Services Manager's absence, this role assumes overall responsibility for the areas defined above and their smooth running at financial, operational and compliance levels.
