The Role

We are looking for an organised, proactive and commercially minded Procurement Assistant to join our growing procurement function. This role will provide essential support across the procurement lifecycle, including supplier onboarding, due diligence, purchase order management, tender administration, commercial comparisons and procurement compliance.

Procurement Administration

  • Maintain procurement records and contract documentation.
  • Support stakeholders with procurement-related queries.
  • Track procurement activity and ensure documentation is complete.
  • Raise and process purchase orders in line with the Group’s procurement policy and approval thresholds.
  • Maintain and update the contract register and supplier database on a regular basis.
  • Support preparation of procurement spend reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
  • Track contract expiry and renewal dates, flagging upcoming milestones to the Procurement Manager.

Tender & Sourcing Support

  • Coordinate tender and quotation exercises.
  • Manage supplier communications during tenders.
  • Collate supplier questions and coordinate responses.
  • Assist with bid evaluations and commercial comparisons.

Supplier Due Diligence & Compliance

  • Conduct supplier onboarding and due diligence checks.
  • Support supplier risk assessments.
  • Monitor supplier compliance with procurement governance requirements.
  • Support procurement compliance activities across the Group.

Supplier & Stakeholder Management

  • Build positive supplier and stakeholder relationships.
  • Assist with contract administration and supplier reviews.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, commercial administration or related field.
  • Degree educated or equivalent qualification in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics or related discipline β€” desirable but not essential; relevant experience and demonstrated aptitude will be equally considered.
  • Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills.
  • Able to work with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Interest in developing a procurement career.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced events-driven environment.
  • Comfortable working across multiple entities and brands simultaneously, with an understanding that priorities may shift around event delivery cycles.
  • High attention to detail; ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Good interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style; able to build credibility with suppliers and internal stakeholders at all levels.
