Role Description
The Head of Programme Development is a senior role responsible for the planning, development, and quality assurance of LMC’s training solutions. This individual will oversee the full lifecycle of programme research, design and delivery, ensuring academic rigour, data-led client and market awareness and quality oversight. The role requires an individual capable of designing and delivering targeted training interventions that address specific organisational needs and drive measurable development outcomes. The role also includes leading LMC’s accreditation efforts and driving innovation in training formats and subject areas. You will oversee the entire trainer management process – from reviewing and recruiting new trainers to ensuring high quality across all training delivery. This includes maintaining quality control over trainer materials, aids, and overall course delivery standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- 10+ years’ experience in training or education management, specifically within a professional learning environment.
- Excellent strategic planning, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Skilled in collaborating with subject matter experts and senior consultants to ensure competency development is effectively integrated into programme design and delivery.
- Proven ability to conduct effective Training Needs Analyses (TNA) and translate findings into impactful learning solutions.
- A history of stability and progression within roles, demonstrating commitment, reliability, and the ability to contribute meaningfully over time
- Familiarity with learning technologies and digital training platforms.
- Experience working with international clients or in cross-cultural settings.
- Experience in developing and applying competency frameworks aligned to organisational and role-specific requirements.
- Strong background in designing and managing competency-based assessments to measure capability and track development.
- Strong knowledge of accreditation processes (e.g., BAC, ISO, CPD, HRCI).
