Role Overview: As our Inclusive Growth Project Officer, you will provide project and coordination support that keeps our programmes running smoothly and to a high standard. You will be involved in a wide and varied mix of work across employment and skills, innovation, community empowerment, impact measurement, and our inclusive growth assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate meetings and manage meeting logistics.
  • Arrange and support events.
  • Manage financial administration including purchase orders and budget tracking.
  • Maintain project documentation.
  • Support funding proposals.
  • Help produce reports.

You will bring experience in a senior administrative or project support role — including organising meetings and events, managing documentation, and supporting financial processes such as purchase orders and budget tracking. You are confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels, communicate with clarity and professionalism, and are motivated by contributing to work that makes a real difference for diverse communities.

Benefits:

  • The salary for this post is £38,342 per annum. LLDC operates a performance‑based incremental pay scale.
  • Probationary period of 3 months. Upon successful completion, confirmation of employment will be given, and the notice period will be three months.
  • This is a permanent role. Full‑time position, working 37 hours per week.
  • All employees are eligible to join our pension scheme, which is provided by the Local Government Pension Scheme.
  • Annual leave entitlement of 32 days per year, plus bank holidays, pro‑rate for part‑time employees. The LLDC leave year runs from 1st April until 31st March.
  • 3 fully compensated volunteer days (pro‑rate for part‑time employment) providing all staff with the opportunity to serve the community in which they live.
  • Interest‑free loan to purchase a season ticket for travel to and from work, up to a maximum value of £5,000.
  • Discounted gym membership at the Copper Box Arena and free membership at the London Aquatics Centre. Employees can enjoy the use of both state‑of‑the‑art gyms and swimming facilities for £15 per month.
