We’re looking for an experienced insurance professional to lead our Insurance Shared Services function, delivering expert, strategic insurance support to London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC), the Greater London Authority (GLA) and a growing group of partner organisations with a combined asset base of over £2.5bn. You’ll shape and deliver insurance strategies, manage complex renewals, oversee claims, advise on major projects and contracts, and build strong relationships with brokers, insurers and senior stakeholders. With an annual premium spend of around £4m, this is a role with real scope, influence and visibility. We’re seeking someone with deep commercial insurance expertise, confidence working independently and the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Benefits
- The salary for this post is £103,604 per annum. LLDC operates a performance‑based incremental pay scale.
- The probationary period for this post is six months. Upon successful completion, confirmation of employment will be given and the notice period will be three months.
- This is a permanent role.
- This is a full‑time position, working 37 hours per week.
- All employees are eligible to join our pension scheme, provided by the Local Government Pension Scheme.
- Annual leave entitlement is 32 days per year, plus bank holidays, pro‑rata for part‑time employees. The LLDC leave year runs from 1 April to 31 March and entitlement will be pro‑rata from the individual’s start date.
- We offer 3 fully compensated volunteer days (pro‑rata for part‑time employment) to serve the community in which employees live.
- Employees may obtain an interest‑free loan to purchase a season ticket for travel to and from work (up to £5,000).
- Employees are eligible for a discounted gym membership at the Copper Box Arena and free membership at the London Aquatics Centre (£15/month).
