Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role based in Croydon for an Executive Assistant & Governance Clerk, supporting the Chief Executive Officer, Board, and wider Executive Team. The role combines high-level executive support with responsibility for coordinating governance processes across the organisation. This includes managing complex diaries, preparing professional correspondence and briefing materials, and ensuring the smooth coordination of meetings and organisational priorities.

Alongside executive support, the postholder will provide full governance clerking support to the Board and its Committees, including scheduling meetings, preparing and circulating papers, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. The role also works closely with the Executive Team and HR to support the review, organisation, and management of policies and procedures, maintaining accurate documentation and version control through the organisation’s systems.

This is a varied and pivotal position requiring a high level of organisation, discretion, and professionalism, with the ability to manage competing priorities and contribute to effective leadership, strong governance, and organisational compliance.

Qualifications

  • Strong Executive Administrative Assistance and Executive Support skills
  • Proficiency in managing Expense Reports and Administrative Assistance tasks
  • Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with executives and stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Familiarity with governance processes or frameworks is an asset
  • Prior experience supporting senior executives is preferred
