The Business Manager to the Group Chief Data Officer serves as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the Group CDO. Sitting within the Group Data & Analytics leadership team, you will help coordinate and drive the overall effectiveness of a global function responsible for data strategy, analytics, AI, governance and data management across the Howden Group. You will help connect divisional data teams, business leaders and corporate functions around a shared vision for data and AI at Howden.
- Strategic Leadership & Executive Support
- Partner closely with the Group CDO to shape and execute the Group Data & Analytics strategy.
- Support the development of strategic plans, operating models, business cases and investment proposals.
- Conduct targeted research, analysis and benchmarking to support executive decision making.
- Help identify opportunities to accelerate value from data, analytics and AI across the Group.
- Business Management & Operational Leadership
- Coordinate annual business planning, budgeting and workforce planning activities.
- Support management of third-party partnerships, vendors and strategic suppliers.
- Coordinate leadership meetings, governance forums and planning sessions.
- AI, Data & Analytics Transformation
- Coordinate initiatives spanning data, analytics, AI adoption and organisational capability building.
- Track strategic outcomes and benefits realisation.
- Support acquisition integration and growth initiatives.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communications
- Build strong relationships with divisional data leaders, business executives and corporate functions.
- Develop executive presentations, briefing materials and leadership communications.
- Governance, Performance & Insight
- Develop reporting and insight packs for senior leadership.
- Support tracking of objectives, key results and strategic outcomes.
- Community & Culture
- Support the Group CDO in building a high-performing global data community.
- Promote collaboration and best practice across divisional teams.
Experience
- Experience in a Business Manager, Chief of Staff, Strategy, Operations, Transformation or Consulting role.
- Experience working with senior executives and leadership teams.
- Experience operating in large, matrixed or international organisations.
