Role purpose

Provide the foundation for AI delivery: identifying where AI creates genuine value, monitoring, proving and recommending course corrections when initiatives underperform. This role works closely with business teams, IT and delivery, bridging strategy and execution.

Key accountabilities

  • Discovery & opportunity analysis
    • Map end-to-end workflows with brokers and corporate teams and identify AI-focused process re-engineering opportunities
    • Produce clear business cases with explicit assumptions, risks, and expected outcomes
    • Make evidence-based recommendations on whether to build, buy, iterate, or stop
  • Measurement & benefits tracking
    • Define adoption, productivity, and value baselines that Finance will accept
    • Build and maintain dashboards reflecting real usage and outcomes, not vanity metrics
  • Risk, controls & governance
    • Support governance processes, risk assessments, and documentation
    • Ensure analysis enables responsible AI decisions
  • Insights & continuous improvement
    • Analyse model behaviour and user adoption patterns
    • Surface important findings about value realisation, adoption barriers, or unintended consequences
  • Enablement & communication
    • Produce clear guidance, training materials, and explanations that help users adopt AI effectively
    • Communicate findings confidently to senior stakeholders

Skills & experience

  • Demonstrable expertise in AI platforms and models
  • Strong quantitative analysis and problem-solving capability
  • Experience defining and tracking metrics for AI-enabled products
  • Track record supporting initiatives that moved from analysis into delivery
  • Comfortable challenging assumptions and presenting evidence to stakeholders
  • Experience working in regulated environments or under formal governance
