The Role:
We are seeking experienced Consultant Gynaecologists to join our growing team. The successful candidates will be able to deliver, and where appropriate further develop, the range of services currently offered at London Gynaecology, including:
- General gynaecology
- Contraception, including coils and implants
- Cervical screening and colposcopy
- Ultrasound scanning
- Hormonal health and menopause care
- Early pregnancy care and screening
- Antenatal care and scanning
- Specialist care for fibroids, endometriosis, adenomyosis, and polyps
- Surgical procedures, including hysteroscopy, operative laparoscopy, laparoscopic and abdominal myomectomy, laparoscopic and abdominal hysterectomy, and laser cone biopsy
We are particularly keen to enhance our services in Urogynaecology, Menopause, Fertility, Ultrasound Scanning, and Colposcopy. Flexible evening and weekend sessions are available.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience of working at consultant level in the NHS is essential
- Private Practice experience is desirable
- Evidence of professional updates & mandatory training
- Full GMC Registration
- MBBS / MRCP / equivalent medical qualification
- MRCOG or appropriate specialist registration
- Enhanced DBS and reference checks will be undertaken on all successful applicants.
We are particularly looking for expertise in Urogynaecology, Ultrasound Scanning and Colposcopy.
Required Personal Qualities:
- To be able to demonstrate clinical excellence, and professionalism across the role
- Great time management and flexibility
- To have a professional and caring manner towards patients
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, relatives, GPs, nurses and other agencies, teams and professionals.
- Registered or willing to register with private healthcare companies, e.g. AXA, BUPA, Vitality, WPA and Cigna
- To be able to commit to minimum requirement of two clinical sessions each week
- On Specialist Register with GMC with evidence of annual appraisal and revalidation
- Team-player; to be able to work collaboratively, respectfully and in line with London Gynaecology’s values.
