We are seeking a committed GP who is a registered BMS Menopause Specialist to join our expert clinical team at our newest clinic in Richmond. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional patient care, with special interests in Women’s Health & Menopause, alongside carrying out high-quality GP services:

  • Provide comprehensive, personalised care and treatment plans to our patients.
  • Conduct health screenings as part of consultations (including history, examination, smears, coil fittings & removals) and arrange any necessary investigations.
  • Provide follow‑ups, private prescriptions, and onward referrals where needed.
  • Respond promptly to patient queries outside of scheduled appointments.
  • Adhere to clinic prescribing guidelines, clinical pathways, policies and procedures.
  • Work within the Clinical Governance framework, proactively identifying and managing risks and significant events.
  • Collaborate effectively with the administrative and nursing/HCA support teams.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, quality improvement, and open feedback.
  • Participate in clinical team meetings and events.
  • Complete all mandatory training requirements.
  • Undertake any additional responsibilities as the clinic develops.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate clinical excellence and professionalism across the role.
  • Great time management and flexibility.
  • Show a professional and caring manner towards patients.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, relatives, consultant gynaecologists, nurses and other agencies, teams and professionals.
  • Registered or willing to register with private healthcare companies, e.g. WPA, Allianz, Cigna.
  • Commit to a minimum of two clinical sessions each week (5 hours per session).
  • On GP Register with GMC, with evidence of annual appraisal and revalidation.
  • Team‑player; capable of working collaboratively, respectfully and in line with London Gynaecology’s values.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Experience of working as a GP in the NHS is essential.
  • Registered BMS Menopause Specialist.
  • Private Practice experience is desirable.
  • Evidence of professional updates & mandatory training.
  • Full GMC Registration.
  • Any appropriate specialist registrations.
  • Enhanced DBS and reference checks will be undertaken on all successful applicants.
