We are on the brink of something extraordinary at London Museum – building a new museum that brings fresh voices, stories, and experiences to life, offering visitors an unforgettable journey through London’s past, present, and future. The Creative Programme is the London Museum’s public programme, taking place in the new London Museum Smithfield (opening 2026). The Creative Programme is an ambitious year-round offer of exhibitions, events, and commissions that reflect and reimagine life in the city. The Creative Programme will bring people together through powerful, meaningful experiences including immersive family programming, innovative late-night events and collaborations with London creatives.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of bold, high-impact events as part of the Creative Programme for the new London Museum.
- Work with the Creative Programmes Producer (Events) to deliver the Museum’s late-night and core events programme.
- Be part of a vibrant team, at the forefront of producing unforgettable events that bring the museum to life after hours, spark conversation, and connect with diverse audiences across the city.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of immersive and audience-focused programming.
- Collaborate with museum colleagues and external partners and artists to realise event concepts.
Qualifications and experience
- Experience supporting the delivery of large-scale live events for adult audiences.
- Strong administrative and artist management skills.
- A collaborative work style with excellent communication and creative ideas.
- Previous experience of working in a museum is not required; no academic qualifications are required.
Role details
We are recruiting for three positions; start dates will vary. One Assistant Producer will start in April 2026; the two remaining Assistant Producers will start in June 2026.
