Work at the centre of a growing public sector investment organisation. London Treasury is hiring a Junior Investment Analyst to support the management of the London Treasury Liquidity Fund (LTLF) — a c.£4bn pooled investment vehicle serving public sector investors. This is an excellent opportunity for an early‑career professional to gain hands‑on exposure to portfolio management, liquidity strategies, short‑duration fixed income markets and long‑term private market investments within a collaborative investment team.

You will work closely with senior investment colleagues in the day‑to‑day execution of the fund’s investment strategy, contributing to investment decision‑making, liquidity positioning and monitoring fund performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Daily dealing in line with investment strategy (managing daily cash positions, trade recommendations/execution, portfolio and liquidity positioning)
  • Monitor money market conditions to inform trading decisions (interest rates and counterparty pricing)
  • Maintain relationships with banks, brokers and other investment counterparties
  • Assist in the production of fund reporting (positions, liquidity and performance)
  • Assist in investment due diligence and the production of investment committee papers
  • Contribute to investment strategy through market monitoring and data analysis
  • Maintain investment records and documentation

Requirements

  • Background in/awareness of an FCA-regulated environment
  • Understanding of money market and fixed income investment products
  • Strong Excel skills, including financial modelling and data analysis
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent organisational skills with ability to work under pressure and manage multiple workflows
  • Relevant degree (e.g. finance, economics or related discipline), or relevant professional qualification such as IMC, CFA Level I or ACT
  • Experience in dealing in money market and fixed income investment products
  • Experience of Bloomberg or Quantum

Work in a purpose‑led investment organisation supporting the public sector. Exposure to both liquidity and private market/strategic investments. Opportunity to grow within a scaling organisation.
