Introduction to Adult Education in London
The Mayor is working to ensure London’s skills offer better serves London’s communities and economies, building on the success of the delegation of the Adult Education Budget (AEB) in 2019.
The Mayor’s plans and the latest information and guidance for London’s skills programmes are available. You can sign up to our mailing list to receive updates and funding opportunities for delivering skills in London.
We connect Londoners to skills training and employment opportunities in London\’s growth sectors through initiatives like the No Wrong Door programme, which helps Londoners find high-quality employment and skills support, and the London Multiply programme, which supports Londoners with limited numeracy qualifications to access free numeracy skills training.
Funding is available for training providers, employers, and learners as part of the Skills for Londoners initiative. Guidance for GLA-funded jobs and skills providers during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak is also provided.
