We are looking for someone who can help us redefine what’s possible for our Engineering team. The core purpose of this role is to deliver a safe, efficient and resilient Baggage System - a system that delivers one of three major flows within the Airport (the others being aircraft and pax).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Baggage Engineering team of highly skilled Technicians to deliver the maintenance plan.
- Ensure optimal performance of the Baggage asset base including performance improvements to improve system availability achieving against OBP / CSS metrics.
- Proven proactive leadership to promote health and safety culture, ensuring processes and procedures protect employees and contractors.
- Ensure performance of systems meets and exceeds required OBP, CSS measures.
- Lead failure investigations to determine root causes associated with baggage system and operational impacts to business.
