London Gatwick is evolving rapidly, presenting an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager (Civils) to join our high‑performing and expanding Airfield and Civils Programme. You will lead strategic construction projects from conception, through execution and close‑out, supporting the Programme Manager to deliver projects on time and within budget to the highest standard.
Reporting to the Programme Manager, you will be responsible for leading complex projects through design, procurement, construction and delivery, ensuring high‑quality results and confident handover to the business and its customers.
Do you have what we're looking for?
- Significant experience as a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager, leading infrastructure projects in a live operational environment worth over £20 million (ideally in a relevant industry such as highways, airfields, rail or nuclear).
- Experience leading teams of 10 people or more.
- Proven ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, explaining complex priorities in a straightforward way.
- Demonstrable leadership and influencing skills, including motivation, coaching and facilitation.
- A qualification in Project Management (e.g., APM PMQ) and a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction is desirable.
