This role takes an office first hybrid approach here at London Gatwick, with three days a week in the office, two days remote, managed around the needs of the business.
What is the role?
Reporting to the IT Director, this role is responsible for delivering a well-governed, cost-effective IT contract portfolio, that is compliant with Gatwick policies and is aligned with internal budgets. The role will further be responsible for all aspects of the budget and forecasting elements of resource management. The role contributes significantly to delivering IT productivity targets.
What will you do?
- Responsible for overall management of IT contracts (c. 230 contracts to the value of £20m per annum) and purchasing processes, including Renewal Management, Budget Forecasting, Management of Contracts Database, Month-End Processing.
- Supports the end-to-end contract lifecycle for IT services, software, and infrastructure, including execution, and renewal.
- Collaborates with Procurement, Legal, and IT stakeholders to ensure contracts meet business and compliance requirements.
- Manages contracted IT budgets, forecasts, and expenditures, providing regular financial reports and variance analysis.
- Supports vendor performance reviews and service level agreement (SLA) compliance.
- Identifies cost-saving opportunities and support strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Line management of a small internal team and external services as required.
Do you have what we\’re looking for?
- Bachelor\’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Professional certifications such as CIPS, ITIL, or PMP are advantageous.
- Proven strong working experience in IT contract management and financial oversight.
- Experience working in a cross-functional environment with legal, procurement, and IT teams with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of IT procurement, licensing models, and contract management.
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and risk awareness.
- Proficiency in financial systems and contract management tools.
- Ability to interpret complex legal and financial documents.
