We are excited to invite enthusiastic individuals from all backgrounds to join our 2026 intake of Engineering Apprentices. London Gatwick Airport is now looking for exceptional Engineering Apprentices to join our world class Apprenticeship Programme.

As a London Gatwick Airport Engineering Apprentice, you will undertake full technical training in Engineering Maintenance through a combination of college study and hands-on application of learning in the workplace. This is a four-year apprenticeship which includes studying at college and working alongside our highly skilled Technicians. College work is combined with working on exciting, challenging, and innovative engineering departments across our programmes, such as Airfield, HVAC, Baggage, Shuttles, Transport Engineering, Specialist Systems and Life Safety Systems. Upon successful completion, you will become a fully qualified Engineering Technician with industry-recognised qualifications.

To qualify for this fantastic opportunity, you will:

  • Have actual or predicted GCSE Level 4/5 grades or above in Maths, English and a Science Subject
  • Be passionate about Engineering with a desire to learn
  • Be motivated and driven
  • Able to commit to a four-year programme
