Working with major housing providers and public-sector clients, we deliver large-scale projects that ensure buildings remain safe and compliant. With a strong pipeline and ambitious growth plans through to 2030, we're looking for a Bid Manager to play a key role in securing our next phase of success.
The Role
This is an opportunity to take ownership of the full bid lifecycle within a growing business. You’ll produce clear, compelling and compliant submissions, working closely with operational, commercial and technical teams to ensure every bid reflects the quality and expertise LFS is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead bids from opportunity through to submission and review
- Write and coordinate tenders, bids and PQQ responses
- Develop strong win themes and tailored content
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather accurate information
- Manage timelines to ensure high-quality, on-time submissions
- Maintain and improve bid libraries and case studies
- Manage tender portals and framework submissions
- Review feedback to improve future bid performance
About You
Essential
- Experience in bid management, bid writing or tender coordination
- Strong writing skills with attention to detail
- Understanding of public sector tender processes
- Experience with social value responses (e.g. National TOMs)
- Highly organised with strong project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders
- Proactive, self-motivated and confident taking ownership
- Experience using tender portals and Microsoft Office
Desirable
- Experience in construction, fire safety or compliance sectors
- Commercial awareness and ability to position value
- Experience in a fast-paced or growing business
- Familiarity with AI tools or CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot)
