London Fire Solutions Limited is a well-established and growing passive fire protection contractor, delivering fire stopping and fire door works across residential, commercial, and public-sector frameworks. Due to continued growth, we are seeking Passive Fire Surveyors to support a growing portfolio of projects across the UK.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Firestopping:
  • Conducting detailed compartmentation inspections
  • High attention to detail
  • Dealing with the public/residents
  • Measuring compartment breaches and identifying service types
  • Being able to read floor plans and compartmentation drawings
  • Accurately explaining firestopping breaches and providing firestopping solutions
  • Ability to travel
  • Fire doors:
    • Ability to identify non-compliances with fire doors
    • Ability to speak with clients and residents alike
    • Suitable knowledge and training for fire door surveying
    • High attention to detail
    • Ability to use digital surveying tools
    • Understanding floor plans and compartmentation drawings
    • Understanding of fire door regulations and guidance

    Essential Experience:

    • Willingness and ability to travel nationwide (occasional travel required)
    • Full UK Driving License
    • Have your own vehicle
    • Own Public Liability / Public & Professional Indemnity Insurance a benefit
    • FDIS or Bluesky Fire door inspection certification (or equivalent recognised qualification); FDIS Diploma alone is not sufficient
    • Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection (or equivalent) for firestopping surveyors
    • Proven experience in conducting fire door and/or firestopping inspections
    • Strong understanding of current fire safety regulations and compliance standards
    • Ability to produce clear, accurate survey reports
    • Good written and spoken English
    • Ability to work unsupervised
