The Role
This is price work, meaning your earnings reflect your productivity and quality. The more efficiently you work, the more you earn - with realistic earnings between £1,500 - £3,000 per week. You'll be working across live sites and occupied buildings, carrying out both remedial works and installations.
What You'll Be Doing
- Carrying out fire door remedial works (gaps, seals, ironmongery, closers, glazing, adjustments)
- Installing fire-rated timber door sets and fire-rated screens
- Ensuring all work meets BM TRADA / FIRAS and manufacturer standards
- Recording completed work with photos and certification
- Working professionally in occupied environments, maintaining high standards at all times
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience working on fire-rated doors and screens
- Strong understanding of fire door compliance and remedial works
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry & Joinery (or equivalent experience)
- FIRAS / BM TRADA (or willingness to obtain)
- CSCS Card
- Full UK driving licence
- Own tools
- Self-motivated, reliable, and quality-driven
