Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Compartment Fire Surveyor to support a growing portfolio of projects across the UK.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting detailed compartmentation inspections
  • Ability to work in confined spaces such as loft areas
  • High attention to detail
  • Dealing with the public/residents
  • Ability to mock up floor plans for loft compartmentation details
  • Measuring compartment breaches and identifying service types
  • Being able to read floor plans and compartmentation drawings
  • Accurately explaining firestopping breaches and being able to provide firestopping solutions

Essential Experience:

  • Full UK Driving License
  • Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection (or equivalent) for firestopping surveyors
  • IFE certificate Level 2 +
  • Proven experience in conducting firestopping inspections
  • Strong understanding of current fire safety regulations and compliance standards
  • Ability to produce clear, accurate survey reports
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Ability to work unsupervised
