The role
We're looking for an experienced Fire Door Estimator to price fire door supply, installation, replacement and remedial repair work. The role can be fully remote, so you'll need to be organised and able to get going quickly. Experience with Calwin and HubSpot would be a real advantage.
What you'll be doing
- Pricing remedial fire door repairs from inspection and survey reports, such as adjusting gaps, replacing intumescent strips and smoke seals, fixing or replacing closers, hinges and ironmongery, glazing, and door leaf or frame repairs
- Judging when a door can be repaired and when it needs replacing, and pricing both
- Pricing fire door supply, install and replacement packages from drawings, surveys and schedules
- Building and managing estimates in Calwin
- Tracking enquiries, quotes and follow-ups in HubSpot and keeping the pipeline up to date
- Working with our bids, surveying and operations teams to get the price right
- Checking specs, certification and ironmongery requirements
- Reviewing tender documents and flagging risks or anything that needs clarifying
- Occasional site visits or office attendance when needed
What we need from you
- Proven experience estimating fire doors in the passive fire or doorset industry
- Experience pricing remedial fire door repairs, ideally from FRA or inspection data
- Good knowledge of fire door certification, BS 8214 and third-party schemes
- Organised and accurate, and able to manage your own workload remotely
Desirable
- Experience using Calwin
- Experience using HubSpot CRM
- Social housing or planned maintenance experience
What we offer
- £45,000–£55,000 depending on experience
- Remote working
