About us London Fire Solutions was set up in 2011 and has been keeping residents safe ever since. We make our own certified fire doors in a 30,000 sq ft factory in Gillingham, and we install, survey, fire stop and maintain them for housing providers, councils and main contractors. We’re BAFE registered and NICEIC accredited, so we also look after fire alarm systems. In 15 years we’ve grown to a turnover of just under £19m, with an office in the Midlands and plans to expand into the North. The role This is an office-based role at our Gillingham head office, working closely with the MD. Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5pm. £26,000 – £30,000 basic, plus a monthly bonus for meetings booked and work won (realistic OTE around £40,000). We’re building a sales team and want someone who’s confident on the phone to help get it moving. Your job is to open doors. You’ll call housing associations, councils and contractors, find the people responsible for fire safety, find out what work they have coming up, and book meetings for our senior team. You don’t need to know about fire doors when you start. We’ll teach you that. What we need is someone who isn’t afraid of picking up the phone. What you’ll be doing * Making outbound calls and sending emails to housing providers, local authorities and contractors * Finding the right contacts, such as asset managers and building safety leads * Finding out what work is coming up, when, and who makes the decision * Booking meetings and site visits for the senior team * Following up existing leads and enquiries from our website and events * Logging every call and outcome in HubSpot What we’re looking for * Experience in phone-based sales, lead generation or business development, ideally B2B * Confident, persistent and not put off by hearing “no” * Organised, with the discipline to keep records accurate and up to date * Construction or social housing experience would be a bonus, but isn’t essential * Keen to learn and grow into a bigger sales role What we offer * Basic salary plus a monthly bonus for meetings booked and work won * Pension * Cycle to work scheme * Employee discount * Health and wellbeing support * Life insurance As we grow the sales team, there’s a real chance to progress for the right person.
