Remuneration: £30,000 - £33,000 depending on experience + bonus scheme, salaries are reviewed every 6 months
Location: Head office in Shoreditch
The Role
- Filming events, branded content and live productions on location, typically three days per week
- Operating cameras confidently in fast-moving event environments and capturing footage with a good eye for framing, exposure and focus
- Supporting livestream delivery on site, including setup, monitoring and troubleshooting during live events
- Preparing, testing and packing camera, audio, lighting and streaming kit ahead of shoots
- Managing media properly on shoot days, including card handling, file transfers and backups
- Carrying out pre-production tasks such as recces, schedules, shot lists and storyboards
- Working with the wider production team to plan shoots and keep projects running smoothly
- Sourcing kit, props and locations where needed
- Keeping the warehouse and kit organised, maintained and ready for use
- Editing footage in Premiere Pro when needed, with clean project setup and strong file organisation
- Managing project files across hard drives, Google Drive, Frame.io and Vimeo
- Staying up to date with new techniques, tools and ways of working that improve output
The Person
- Competent knowledge in filming with large sensor cameras including Sony FS7, FX6 & Sony FX3
- Strong AV and broadcast background, ideally with B-roll footage experience
- Ability to operate a range of Cameras and film equipment
- Able to rig and de-rig camera equipment and basic lighting
- Strong organisational skills and ability to comply with production systems and guidelines
- Personable and full of ideas
- Familiar with the pre-production process for filming
- Be a proficient user of Adobe Premiere Pro
- Familiar with Adobe After Effects
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
- Strong technical knowledge (formats, codecs etc)
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have a strong problem-solving ability and a can-do attitude
