About the role
Full responsibility of the financial processes at LEVC Dealerships.
Manage the production of the monthly Dealership P&L.
Completion of month-end process, ensuring all journals are posted in a timely manner.
Ensure reconciliations of relevant commercial balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
Production of budgets and forecasts.
Monthly financial reviews with retail heads of department, sales director and head of commercial finance.
Business partnering the head of retail and retail operations management team.
Ensure processes and controls are in place to ensure accuracy of financial information.
Management of the internal and external audit processes for the retail sites.
Provision of information as required by LEVC or Geely.
Any other ad-hoc tasks as determined by line manager.
Experience to succeed
Qualified accountant or qualified by experience.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the automotive sector is required.
Dealership, OEM experience would be desirable but not essential.
Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Strong understanding of cost control, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
Experience with the Pinawood system is preferred.
Ability to work proactively with minimal supervision
Strong IT and finance system skills and advanced Excel skills
Experience leading month-end and year-end closing processes
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to present financial information to non-financial team members
Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
