About Us

JD Healthcare Group is one of the UK's leading fertility and reproductive healthcare providers, operating brands including London Women's Clinic, London Egg Bank, London Sperm Bank, KindIVF, Surrey Park Women's Clinic and Elective Egg Freezing across the United Kingdom. Since 1985, we have been supporting individuals and families through some of the most significant journeys of their lives — combining world-class clinical expertise with genuine human care. Everything we do is driven by a shared purpose: helping people build the families they dream of.

About the Role

As a Fertility Nurse at London Egg Bank, you'll deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients at every stage of their fertility treatment journey. Working as part of a close-knit multidisciplinary team, you'll support patients through consultations, procedures and treatment cycles — always ensuring care is delivered safely, professionally and in line with the highest clinical and regulatory standards. This is a specialist nursing role with real breadth — from follicular tracking scans to post-sedation recovery — and one where your clinical skill and empathy will make a genuine difference. If you're a registered nurse or midwife with a passion for women's health and fertility, we want to hear from you.

What you will do

  • Deliver individualised, evidence-based nursing care across all stages of the fertility treatment pathway, maintaining accurate records on the clinic's fertility management system
  • Assess, admit and safely discharge patients following sedation, and assist or scrub for egg collection procedures and post-procedure recovery
  • Intrauterine insemination (IUI) and endometrial scratching following completion of in-house training
  • Educate patients on treatment and medication schedules, demonstrating injectable medication techniques to support patient self‑administration
  • Perform phlebotomy (at satellite and selected clinics), and maintain and audit resuscitation equipment stocks
  • Communicate with patients with clarity and compassion via telephone, email and video consultation throughout their treatment journey
  • Participate in regular service audits, consent auditing and pre‑treatment screening reviews, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement

What we are looking for

Essential

  • Registered Nurse and/or Midwife with a current, valid NMC registration
  • Degree-level qualification in nursing or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centred approach
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a varied caseload
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and accurate clinical record‑keeping
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Solid IT proficiency and a current ILS certification (or willingness to train to this standard)

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a fertility or women's healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of audit processes and quality improvement
  • Willingness to complete in-house and BFS training for IUI and scanning

What we offer

  • 32 days annual leave including bank holidays
