Spire Occupational Health (Spire OH) is looking for a competent, compassionate, and confident Occupational Health Advisor to join our growing team! Spire OH is part of the Spire Healthcare Group - the second largest private healthcare provider in the UK, established in 2007 with 38 hospitals and over 50 clinics across the country. We provide Occupational Health services to clients nationwide, and we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to put their health first and we help support our clients, and employees to do so.
As an OH Advisor, you will deliver remote case management work and provide clinical support and advice to around 50,000 of our clients. You will also utilise your skills and expertise to provide exceptional occupational health/pre-employment assessments alongside supporting colleagues with other OH projects.
Essential Requirements
- Must hold a valid Nurses Midwifery Council (NMC) pin
- Occupational Health degree or diploma is desirable.
- Work experience within similar role is a must.
- Health Surveillance experience and/or knowledge is desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading case management clinics and assessing fitness for work.
- Triaging on the business portal.
- Ensure client records are kept up to date.
- To oversee any health surveillance activity via the Occupational Health (OH) platform.
- To support OHT's with clinical enquiries.
- Support the clearance of new starter questionnaires.
- Support line manager in compliance checks and audit, e.g., to ensure SEQHOS standards are always adhered.
- Ensure compliance with relevant professional guidelines e.g. NMC Code of Conduct.
