We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinic Receptionist to join our Spire Private Clinic in Wimbledon. Working weekends, you will play a vital role at the heart of the clinic, welcoming patients and supporting the smooth running of our private services. As an integral member of a dedicated and compassionate team, you’ll deliver a friendly, professional experience while working closely with clinicians to help provide outstanding patient care. This role will support Spire Wimbledon Clinic Saturday 9am to 1pm. There is potential for over-time and additional days ad-hoc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome all visitors to the clinic in a polite and courteous manner and ensure all patients are appropriately briefed for their appointment.
  • Manage and maintain our appointment diaries and ensure future appointments are booked correctly.
  • Liaise with patients regarding the payment of their treatment. This involves processing cash and card payments.
  • Ensure that the reception and waiting area is always kept tidy and presentable.
  • Complete daily reception tasks such as inputting new patient’s data, scanning and restocking rooms.
  • Opening and closing of clinics when needed.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls in a professional manner, and support clinical staff where a patient is going to be late or needs to reschedule their appointment.
  • Accurately process referrals and contact patients via phone and email to book their appointments.
  • Send clinical letters and reports by post and/or electronic means.

  • A strong team player with a genuine commitment to putting patients and customers first.
  • Proactive and confident using your own initiative, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Comfortable working independently, using sound judgement and problem‑solving skills when lone working.
  • Adaptable, flexible, and keen to learn new skills on the job.

Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Strong administration skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong I.T. Skills and can work on multiple systems and platforms.
