London Doctors Clinic (LDC) is looking for a competent, compassionate, and confident Medical Receptionist to join our fantastic customer service team!
- LDC is part of the Spire Healthcare Group
- the second largest private healthcare provider in the UK and we provide Private GP services to patients across London.
In this role, you will be integral to enabling LDC’s success by being the first point of contact for our patients – either on the phone or in person – creating a positive and professional impression, embodying the values and excellence that define the LDC brand.
Therefore, we are looking for an individual with great customer service skills, the ability to communicate at all levels, capable of multitasking during a busy clinic day.
- Must be able to travel across London, including our Chislehurst Clinic
- Must have experience in a customer service and/or administrative setting.
- Excellent IT literacy is paramount.
Key Responsibilities
- Offer a friendly welcome to patients, always ensuring excellent customer service.
- Deliver efficient, patient-focused communication across all channels, including email, telephone, and face-to-face interactions in the clinic.
- Handling confidential patient details in line with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
- Maintain the clinic’s cleanliness and organisation to the highest standards, ensuring compliance with CQC guidelines.
- Assist Clinic doctors with any queries throughout the day.
- To check all doctors’ equipment is available for doctors to use and is working correctly.
- Report any facility issues to the Operations Team.
- To complete medication and non-medication stock checks and ordering non-medication stock when needed.
- Taking payments from patients and being accountable for invoices and billing queries.
- Arranging courier collections for blood samples taken in clinic, managing that these couriers arrive in a timely manner.
- Fulfil theroleof a chaperone when appropriate.
