At Bishop Ramsey School, we are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Teacher of English to join our successful English Faculty. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious teacher at any stage of their career. Our English Faculty is a collaborative, experienced and highly supportive team committed to developing confident, articulate and thoughtful young people through reading, writing and spoken communication. We want students to love language, engage deeply with literature and leave school empowered by their ability to communicate effectively.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4;
- Inspire students of all abilities to achieve excellent outcomes;
- Contribute to a rich programme of extra-curricular opportunities including theatre trips, Lit Fest activities and competitions;
- Play an active role within our caring Christian school community.
