St Nicholas CE Primary School, Manor Farm Avenue, Shepperton, TW17 9AD
Part-Time Position: 15 hours per week, ideally 8am to 1pm three days a week during term time only plus 2 weeks, i.e. 41 weeks of the year.
Salary at Surrey Grade 9 £40,296 FTE, which means pro‑rated actual salary £15,185.
This is an in‑person role, located at Manor Farm Avenue, Shepperton, Middlesex, TW17 9AD.
The Governors of St Nicholas School wish to appoint an HR Manager to join our friendly and efficient Administrative Team. The HR Manager will lead and manage the HR function within the school – ensuring full compliance with HR policies and best practices, and employment legislation. This is an exciting role for an HR professional able to transfer their knowledge and skills into an education setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide HR support and guidance to school leadership and staff;
- Manage recruitment, including safer recruitment procedures, contracts and pre‑employment checks;
- Manage employee procedures including absence management, flexible working, grievance and other practices and policies pertaining to employment;
- Maintain personnel records, including the single central record, the management information system (SIMS) and reporting starters, leavers, absence and overtime information to Payroll;
- Ensure policies and procedures align with employment law and safeguarding requirements.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, employment law, and best practices;
- Experience working in an HR role, ideally within education;
- Excellent interpersonal, organisation, IT and communication skills.

- Membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS);
