Preschool Leader

Start date: ASAP
Hours: 45 hours per week (8:00am to 6:00pm), 42 weeks per year (non‑working weeks/holiday to be taken during Preschool closures and school term time)
Salary: SO1 Actual Salary (£47,201.39 – £48,642.38)
Employment type: Permanent position, 3‑month probation period

Holy Trinity CE Primary School is a one‑form entry primary school located in the heart of Dalston. We are part of a federation of seven schools called Primary Advantage. We believe that working collaboratively enables us to achieve more for pupils and the wider education community.

We are seeking a practitioner passionate about excellent early years provision to become our Preschool Leader. The role involves:

  • Overseeing the management and delivery of both preschool rooms
  • Handling preschool admissions
  • Developing and deploying staff (including cover)
  • Supporting the headteacher with preschool policy and procedure development
  • Maintaining evidence folders in readiness for Ofsted inspection
  • Acting as a designated safeguarding lead

The role is provision‑based, with release time for administrative responsibilities. All candidates are required to have at least a Level 3 qualification. Paediatric First Aid and DSL qualifications are desirable.
