How the Trust works:
The Green School for Boys and The Green School for Girls are located across the road from one another. This proximity enables close collaboration and support between the two schools whilst allowing each school to develop its distinct offer. The Trust aims to balance consistency with creativity and freedom. For example, we do have a number of policies that apply to both schools; we do not have set schemes of learning that have to be taught at the same time in the same way at both schools. Staff from both schools benefit from joint training and moderation and some staff work across both schools. There is a strong sense of 'family' in the Trust amongst the staff, and as the boys' school has grown there are also an increasing number of siblings who attend both schools.
