Latymer All Saints Church of England Primary School Governing Board is looking to appoint a full-time Deputy Headteacher to join our aspirational team. We are a forward-thinking primary school in a diverse multi-cultural area with strong community links and a supportive leadership team.

Key responsibilities
  • Support the Headteacher with the strategic leadership of the school.
  • Take the lead on one or more priority areas from the school development plan (e.g., Safeguarding, Inclusion, Teaching and Learning, Curriculum and Personal Development, EYFS, Behaviour and Attendance, or Professional Development).
  • Lead, develop and enhance professional practice across the staff.
  • Support and work in partnership with the Headteacher and leadership team to manage school operations.
  • Be an innovative, forward thinker with a good sense of humour and the ability to manage change while maintaining positive relationships with staff, pupils, parents and external partners.
Requirements and attributes
  • Proven track record as an excellent teacher.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to lead by example and maintain positivity and constructive conversations.
  • Experience and commitment to inclusive practice and safeguarding.
  • Ability to inspire others and influence best practice across the school.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and alignment with the school's Christian ethos and values.
