Job Description
We at London Dairies are a family-run, independent business, based in New Covent Garden Market in London. We pride ourselves on our customer service, working closely with our customers to understand their needs and sourcing specific products for their menus. We stock a wide range of top quality, speciality foods to chefs, caterers, wholesalers and retailers across London – from Cornish Clotted cream to speciality cheeses; as well as the crucial standards such as milk, eggs, butter and juices and other provisions.
**Due to the nature of the deliveries this is a Night Time role where your working hours will be 6 nights a week from 12pm – 8am (these hours can change daily depending on your work load) **
Due to a period of growth we are now seeing a Warehouse Operative to join us on a Full Time permanent basis, doing the below tasks –
- Picking of orders in a chilled environment
- Replenishing stock
- Loading of vans
- Picking items against pick list
- Checking completed order is correct before packing
- Maintaining delivery notes and required paper work
- General housekeeping
- Reporting of any damaged items
This is a fast paced role working for a great company who value their employees and offer a friendly working environment. This is an excellent job for someone to make their own and feel valued within an organisation.
You will ideally have worked in a similar role previously, we do offer full training.
