Trainee Mortgage Adviser (NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED)

Bath Office/Hybrid

£25000 rising to £30000 per annum plus bonus

The role involves mortgaging or remortgaging a property, providing crucial advice to home buyers and homeowners. You will scope out the best mortgage options by listening to customers’ stories and circumstances, documenting these with the help of L&C’s technology, and coming up with compliant solutions that meet their needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing quality and compliant service for customers
  • Building rapport and trust with clients
  • Conducting administrative work as needed

L&C is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and classified as an “Enhanced Firm” under the Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SM&CR). This role will fall into the “Certification and Conduct” elements of the regime.

About you:

We are looking for candidates with customer service experience and a strong work ethic. You should possess excellent listening skills, empathy, and the ability to organise and prioritise effectively. Solid IT skills and a team-focused approach are essential.
