Right now, we’re looking to bring onboard a vibrant PR Manager, to join our PR & Comms team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, high-energy financial services brand that’s reshaping the way people think about mortgages.
The role will be instrumental as we continually strive to push our brand further into the limelight, making ourselves known for our innovation, transparency and putting customers first. Working closely with the Associate Director of Communications and Senior Marketing Assistant, you’ll help deliver an integrated PR and digital PR strategy that builds visibility, trust and authority in a competitive market.
You’ll create compelling stories that champion the value of expert mortgage advice, while spotlighting product innovation, technology, partnerships and data-led insight. A strong focus of the role will be digital PR, delivering online-first campaigns, stories and reactive commentary that drive high-quality coverage, links and online visibility across the industry.
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to shape and deliver a dynamic PR programme that supports brand growth, reputation and customer confidence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering consumer PR and digital PR campaigns from ideation to execution
- Writing and distributing media-ready press releases to national, trade and digital media
- Building strong relationships with journalists, agencies and partners
- Securing and managing customer case studies
- Monitoring coverage and reporting on performance and impact
- Supporting senior stakeholders with media briefings, interviews and commentary
- Helping maintain a clear, forward-looking PR and digital PR calendar
About you:
You’re a passionate and thoughtful PR professional who genuinely cares about doing the right thing for consumers and telling the stories that matter most to your clientele. You’re an excellent communicator with exceptional attention to detail, able to balance creativity with accuracy and careful compliance, and you’re confident translating complex topics into clear, engaging and trustworthy content.
You’re comfortable working on your own initiative, but you also thrive as a collaborative, supportive team player. Flexible, proactive and calm under pressure, you enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where priorities can shift quickly.
Experience within mortgages or regulated financial services, a strong media track record and established journalist relationships are all desirable but in no way essential; we’re ultimately looking for someone with a dynamic, can-do attitude, steadfast and reliable, eager to learn and develop their skills above all, regardless of prior industry.
Joining L&C means:
We care about our customers, but our employees are what make the magic happen. We’re always ready to listen and do what we can to make L&C even better for those receiving and providing our services, so working with us means being part of an environment of respect and equity.
We’re entering an exciting period and it’s a great time to join us; we’re already the UK’s No.1 online mortgage broker but we don’t want to stop there.
24 days starting annual leave, plus your birthday & bank holidays off non-inclusive of your holiday allowance. Electric Car Scheme, Company pension & Death in Service cover, Employee assistance & wellbeing programmes, Annual Summer & Winter parties and team led social events …and much more!
