We are seeking a Business Management Lecturer with an accounting, finance or economics specialism to join our Business academic team from September 2026. This role is suited to an academically grounded, business and accounting-focused practitioner who enjoys delivering applied, practice-led teaching and supporting students to develop their financial literacy and analytical skills.

The Role
You will deliver accounting and finance-focused modules primarily at Levels 4 and 5 on the BA (Hons) Business Management programme. Teaching Pattern: Monday to Friday daytime teaching, with a preference for availability to teach a small number of evening sessions during the week.
Subject Expertise
You will teach subjects including:
- Introduction to micro & macro economics
- Financial statements
- Introduction to business finance
- Budgeting & forecasting
- Quantitative methods for business
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching using blended and experiential approaches
- Mark and assess Level 4–5 undergraduate modules
- Provide academic and pastoral support to students
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance
- Maintain subject expertise through research or professional practice
Essential Criteria
- Degree and postgraduate qualification in Accounting, Finance or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
- Minimum two years’ Higher Education teaching experience
- Strong assessment literacy and feedback practice
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Desirable
- PhD or equivalent professional standing
- Fellowship of the HEA (or working towards)
- Industry or consultancy experience
