We are seeking a Business Management Lecturer with an accounting, finance or economics specialism to join our Business academic team from 11th of May 2026. This role is suited to an academically grounded, business and accounting-focused practitioner who enjoys delivering applied, practice-led teaching and supporting students to develop their financial literacy and analytical skills.

The Role
You will deliver accounting and finance-focused modules primarily at Levels 4 and 5 on the BA (Hons) Business Management programme.
Subject Expertise
- Introduction to micro & macro economics
- Financial statements
- Introduction to business finance
- Budgeting & forecasting
- Quantitative methods for business
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching using blended and experiential approaches
- Mark and assess Level 4–5 undergraduate modules
- Provide academic and pastoral support to students
- Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance
- Maintain subject expertise through research or professional practice
Essential Criteria
- Degree and postgraduate qualification in Accounting, Finance or related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
- Minimum two years' Higher Education teaching experience
- Strong assessment literacy and feedback practice
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Desirable
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
- Fellowship (or working towards Fellowship) of the HEA
- Experience teaching Levels 4–6 and / or 7
